NULAI JUSTICE EDUCATION FELLOWSHIP
In 2020 NULAI Nigeria in partnership with Action4Justice launched her Justice Education Fellowship Program.
NULAI Justice Education Fellowship (NJEF) is a one-year Research and Justice Education fellowship program designed to engage select students to carry out research and related activities on specific areas of law. It is aimed at introducing young and outstanding students to academic research, providing them a platform to contribute to public interest litigation, justice education and access to justice which will enable them to become future leaders in these fields.
Eleven Fellows were trained at the NULAI Centre for Clinical Legal Education to develop comprehensive legal guidebooks for civil society activists and the public. The Fellows developed guidebooks on:
-
Access to Justice: focused on
-
Women Rights
-
Child’s Rights
-
Protecting Civic Spaces
The Fellows were mentored by the NJEF Advisory Committee, which is comprised of fifteen persons selected from a global audience interested in justice education and access to justice. See the members of the committee here.
