Emmanuel Ukonye is currently, the finance Officer for NULAI NIGERIA, a non-governmental, non- profit and non-political organization committed to promoting clinical legal education, legal education reform, legal aid and access to justice in Nigeria and development of future public interest lawyers. He has over Four years of experience in the Non-government organization sector. He has worked with the Africa Centre for Corporate Responsibility (ACCR) as Finance/Admin Officer, a Non-governmental organization Based in Owerri with annexes in Abuja and Warri respectively. He coordinated Oxfam/Novib All Niger Delta women Loans and Savings in thirteen communities in Bayelsa, River and Imo states respectively reporting as finance focal person. He worked as Finance Officer/Accountant for Community Empowerment and Development Initiative (CEDI) a Not for profit organization based in Warri.
He has a great degree of experience working in various donor-funded project like Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme (NSRP) on conflict-related issues that cut across employment and empowerment projects in the Niger-Delta States, Department for International Development (DFID); United States Agency for International Development (USAID; Nigeria HIV/AID Program Development project 11 –World Bank across the Niger Delta and EU Donors Open society initiative for West Africa, Partners global and Partners West Africa, Open Society for Justice Initiative.
